Cassie Bates

Cassie has been in the hair industry since she graduated from Toni and Guy in 2008. She has worked in a variety of salons in Massachusetts and Rhode Island over the years which brought her to opening Hair Lab with Riki back in 2015. Her passion comes from a deep understanding of how and why the hair does what it does and how it can be altered and changed both temporarily or permanantly through products and chemical processes. She has always been an art and science lover and has used her career in hair to satisfy her attention to both. Specializing in natural curls, perms, texture reducing treatments, scalp and hair health, and cutting techniques for all hair types and textures is her true joy in her career. She has taken a long list of classes in many different brands to always search for the endless possibilities to the answer of “why?” She carries certifications in Keratin Complex, Brazilian Blowout, Hot Heads, RedKen Shades EQ and Sexy Hair. Her craving for constant up to date education keeps her knowledge in the industry ever growing and evolving.

Cassie carries a passion unmatched, not only for the art and chemistry that goes behind every look she completes, but also for the satisfaction of the clients she gets the privilege of having in her chair. Whether its a visitor from out of town she only gets to meet once, or a face she gets to see multiple times a year, she finds pure bliss in bringing each of her customers the exact look they are going for each and every time!
