Her journey began at one of the top salons in Rhode Island and continued in New York City, where she had the privilege of working with world-renowned brands like TIGI and learning from some of the best stylists in the world. Graduating from TIGI Talent as a master colorist, Riki’s career flourished. She's worked NYC Fashion Week and traveled across the US, Canada, and Europe sharing her passion for color with fellow stylists. Drawing from the worlds of art, street culture, and music; Riki developed a unique approach to color and design that reflects her deep connection to creativity and individuality. In addition to her stylistic prowess, Riki has always placed education at the forefront of her career. She's taught at the Toni & Guy Academy in Rhode Island, raising up our next generation of stylists. She's constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of hair. After taking a brief detour in 2013 to focus on her personal life as a wife and mother, Riki founded HairLab Providence in 2015. She has worked in a variety of salons in Massachusetts and Rhode Island over the years which brought her to opening Hair Lab with Riki back in 2015. Her passion comes from a deep understanding of how and why the hair does what it does and how it can be altered and changed both temporarily or permanantly through products and chemical processes. She has always been an art and science lover and has used her career in hair to satisfy her attention to both.
